On Thursday, May 22nd, the General Affairs Committee will hold a public hearing on the Governors appointments of Lorelle Mueting & Monica Oldenburg to the Nebraska Medical Cannabis Commission. Both of these individuals have consistently expressed strong opposition to medical cannabis, both personally and professionally. They have made it clear they do not want medical cannabis in any form. You can find a history of their public testimony against almost every medical cannabis bill here. We strongly believe these appointments will HURT Nebraska patients, limiting or even eliminating their access to medical cannabis. We are asking that supporters email the committee directly AND submit online comments for the official transcript- urging them NOT TO APPOINT!
